Responsibilities: -Administer, manage, train, mentor, coach, and supervise the sale of managed services to existing low-end customers and inside/contract renewals. This position will be tasked to deliver upon an annual sales quota fulfilled by each of the inside sales representatives assigned. - Participates with other Sr. level Management to establish strategic plans and objectives - Makes final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensures operations' effective achievement of objectives - Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements - Understanding of decisions and the serious impact on the overall success of functional, customer or management or attempting to influence Sr. level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization - Works on complex issues with analysis of situations and people - Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers - Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with customers or management and/or attempting to include Sr. level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization - Trains, mentors, coaches and supervises inside sales team - Has a thorough knowledge of the organization's products/services - Prioritizes and allocates resources - Responsible for market development, setting targets and ensuring the revenue is generated - General management duties to include: overall mentoring and development of the sales team, automation updates and methods to improve the functional aspects of the positions as well as any efficiency that can be gained - Success of the sales team will be through on-going performance input, 12-month reviews, and on-going training with sales techniques and new product offerings
Qualifications:
Candidate must be experience in IT Services inside sales and be able to direct the day-to-day operations and management of an 11 person team. This is a national inside sales group handling sales under 3K monthly or below 50K total annual sales. This group is managing existing accounts with the goal to renew and up-sell existing accounts. The successful candidate must have individual sales expertise within this role as well as successful management skills within mentoring and growing an inside sales team to create revenue and account retention.
Required Skills: - College Degree preferred but will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience with a minimum educational requirement of a H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent - Minimum 5 years inside sales IT services - Minimum 5 years within Management of an internal team, $30-50M quotas - Demonstrated experience within strong sales negotiation and closing skills - Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a winning inside sales team to meet individual quotas of $3M - Excellent project and time management skills required along with ability to spot trends impacting revenue goals (positively and negatively) - Must be proficient within MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other ERP data applications
Preferred Skills: - Lotus Notes and Oracle SOS - Business Continuity and Professional IT Consulting Services related to Recovery Operations
Working Conditions: - Fast-paced quota environment within a complex IT Services organization - Heavy in/out bound telephone and e-mail communications
